After transferring to NYU in 2020 and growing overwhelmed by isolation, Mikhaila founded Chronic! — a pop-culture print zine and online blog “whose head is the future and whose heart is in the past.”
She used social media to create a team of over 20 student writers, editors, and graphic designers. The zine has published two print issues and has amassed over 1200 followers on Instagram.
